In a world where fitness and health are becoming an increasingly visible and valued commodity, more and more people are looking for accessible, more affordable options that offer good value for money. They’re looking for results, excellent service and an experience that revolves around their needs.
In September 2019 we are bringing a unique fitness solution to the local community; one that meets the needs and expectations of the modern-day fitness client who faces the constant challenge of balancing busy lives with the desire to remain fit. Small group personal training – the “Bottom Line Fitness way.”
Believe it or not, about 90% of people would be better off in a small group personal training environment versus having one to one training. Small group personal training involves one personal trainer and up to four clients being taken through a personal training session together.
“We are creating an experience that meets our members’ fitness needs, from beginning to end.”
For some, this may be a somewhat intimidating concept, for others, it’s a welcome scenario when weighed up against the traditional one to one setting.
The beauty of pairing a qualified and experienced personal trainer with a small group and implementing a “personal training” approach, is that the sessions can easily be tweaked and adapted to suit the varying levels in the group. It really is a winning scenario for all.
It’s still a personal training session, with just a few other likeminded people being coached at the same time. As a group it creates an exciting atmosphere that is both motivational and inspiring, allowing the group to push themselves to achieve more than they potentially would if they were training alone. Plus, in a group environment, a lot of hard work can be complemented by an equal dose of friendly banter and fun.
Just imagine feeding off the atmosphere created by your group, seeing others working hard and driving you to do the same. No more chatting to your trainer but working hard and getting value for money and of course a great workout.
Group training has been around for years but it’s usually provided as an “add on” to one to one training, or, was sold as a block of say 6, 8 or 12 sessions. The sessions would be at fixed times and sometimes this would cause the commitment to be more stressful than necessary. The way we’re going to do it will allow clients to book a training session at a time that works for them, around busy work schedules and social commitments. With up to 40 bookable appointments per week to choose from this makes it a really accessible fitness solution.
This shouldn’t be compared to an exercise class – groups are capped at a maximum of 4 people as any more would prevent our trainers from being able to keep an eye on form, technique, and safety.
Benefits of small group personal training
>> Better results for the client.
With one to one training, the relationship can crush the training. One to one can be invaluable for beginners or if you’re injured, but most don’t NEED it. (We might want it, but that’s different.)
>> More fun, for both the client and trainer
We’ve always trained in groups. At school, in teams, and at clubs. The only time that there has been the exception is when we have been injured or been naughty.
>> More flexibility, for both trainer and client.
The best trainers are fully booked with clients. Fully booked trainers can’t offer flexibility. Having two or three slots open per hour means that people can move around if they need to.
>> More affordable
Seeing a trainer once a week on a one to one basis is expensive. There’s no denying it. Our way will allow you to train up to 3 times a week (or more) at a fraction of the cost of one to one
Curious but unsure?
From September we will start all our clients with a 30-day trial. It’s your chance to experience our unique approach to fitness and our memberships. You’ll get to know the people, the place, and the way things work before you make a longer. For more information about our 30 day trial click here
