Why Personal Training?
“I liked the idea of the format! I felt that training in a small group would be more motivational.
I also knew I could get more sessions for my money and still benefit from a one to one style approach.”

Benefits of small group over one-to-one PT?
“I feel energised in the group format. With a variety of different training plans each week I gather momentum and motivation from other members of group.”
Thoughts on the trial?
“I’m absolutely loving the plan and it offers really good value for money!”
The trial allowed me to take a small step back into training. I feel accountable to the trainers, the group and myself!
Name: Amy
Age: 32
Background: “I’ve always done something to keep fit. Ran a marathon, joined various classes, had 1-2-1 but always struggled with commitment.”
Training objectives: “To keep up with my toddler and to do something that’s for me – and me only.”
So why small group personal training?
“My personal trainer couldn’t accommodate the gaps in my hectic personal schedule. The training timetable is so flexible and provided me with a solution – I can fit sessions in before and after work and even during nursery hours!”
Thoughts on the plan?
“I absolutely love the plan and rave about it to anyone that will listen to me!”
“I feel so well supported and Neil often changes up exercises to suit my goals (i.e. mastering a press-up) and will be the first one to push me that little bit further.”
Name: Kay
Age: 53
Background: “I reached 40 and realised I needed to do something about getting fitter and stronger. That was wear it all started. I followed Neil when he set up Bottom Line Fitness”
Training objectives: “Improved fitness levels, strength gain, feel good factor and weight loss through healthier eating”
So why small group personal training?
“Neil always told me I needed to train more often; I eventually decided to switch from 1-2-1 training to the small group personal training plan.
This has allowed me to do increased sessions (2 or 3 times per week) combining a mixture of weights and cardio which really suits me. The spirit in the group pushes me to do more – people help each other out and push each other to achieve more.”
What would you say to someone considering the plan?
I would say go and give it a go – there are so many sessions to choose from and the trainers are excellent. You’ll meet all types of people there – they’re a friendly bunch and the atmosphere is so good.
Couple this with the fact that it’s excellent value for money and it’s the perfect fitness solution!
